Protest at the Legislature

Join the Sensible BC Team as we raise awareness at the opening of the BC Legislature.

If you're coming from the mainland, we will need to be on the 9am ferry from Tsawwassen terminal.

We will be on the Legislature grounds from 11:30am to 1pm, with signs and banners.

We will break at 1pm for a group lunch, and then hopefully take a tour of the Legislature building before heading to the 5pm ferry.

If you will need a ride, or if you will have extra space in your vehicle, please email the event manager Cindy Heemeryck to arrange carpooling.

I could pick some people up at the Sidney ferry terminal (Swartz Bay?) if anyone is walking on from Tsawwassan. I can fit 5 medium sized passengers.

We are currently arranging carpooling from the Okanagan. We will be leaving on Feb 10 in the afternoon and driving to Vancouver for dinner and then going on the ferry(staying overnight details to follow) Meet with the group in Victoria. Travel to the legislature. Depart Victoria on the 5pm ferry back to Vancouver Go to the vapor lounge*(optional) and stay over night in Vancouver Depart Vancouver 11am-return to Merritt-Kelowna-Vernon-or ? This is a tentative schedule and is flexible for safe travelling!
